Faith Christian Academy Alumni Association
Looking to the Next Generation
The Faith Christian Academy Alumni Association is proud to give back to Faith Christian Academy. Many Alumni have donated their time and money to further the goals of FCA and make Faith the best Christian school in the area. We have raised money for scholarships, athletic uniforms, senior banquets, radio time and technology. We are excited about the future plans of FCA and the vision of our Administrator.
If you are a Faith Christian graduate and would like to give your contact information so that former classmates can contact you, or you simply have something to say, email your name, address, phone number, a photo and any comments to Ryan Clymer
Every year the alumni association awards scholarships to certain graduating seniors who have exemplified Christian character, demonstrated the ability to lead and be involved in FCA, or to those who have shown the highest standard of academic achievement. This year the winners were:
Lauren Fretz, class of 2008
It's impossible to write all my thoughts in one simple paragraph! FCA has
been one of the most amazing parts of my life, and I'm so glad I was able to
grow up there and have spiritual leaders surrounding me. The relationships I
have made there with students, teachers, and coaches will be forever.
learned so many great lessons spiritually, emotionally, and athletically,
that have helped prepare me for my next steps in life. I will always
remember the little old school on the hill! I will be taking my lessons
learned to the Masters College in CA, where I will be playing soccer and
majoring in Kinesiology.
Erin Landis, class of 2008
When I was three years old, my parents put me in the daycare program at Faith. Throughout elementary, middle school, and high school, one thing that has always stood out in my mind is consistency.
The teachers at Faith are the most caring teachers that I could have asked for. Yes, they are there to challenge their students academically, but there is more to it than that. They want to see them reach their full potential in all areas of their lives, especially with their relationships with God.
With this kind of structured environment, it helped me build a strong foundation on which I can further my education, strive to reach my full potential, and be open to the Lord's leading in my life.
2006 Alumni Service Award: Mr. Frank Clymer
Mr. Frank Clymer has impacted Faith Christian Academy in many ways. Whether it is handing out cookies to the players after basketball games or being a key component in helping the Alumni Field project reach it's conclusion, Frank is always there with a smile to help in any way.
The Alumni Association and Faith Christian Academy would like to thank Mr. Clymer and American Saftey for all the support they give to forward Christian education.
2005 Alumni of the Year: Wally and Cheryl Alderfer
Wally and Cheryl have been affecting the culture at FCA for a long time. Since their days of wandering the halls, until their children graduate, the Alderfers will be influencing all of us to love our school even more and give back to the place that has given us so much.
Cheryl is a permanent fixture in our school office. She is constantly helping teachers and leading the way in our Race for Education.
Wally was an instrumantal part of the Alumni Field being renovated. The countless hours he put in on that project, as well as many others, made the choice for the Alumni of the Year an easy one.
